Having booked a 4 bedded room for 2 adults and 2 children we arrived to be greeted by the ex fishmonger who manages the hotel who insisted that we had not booked a 4 bedded room and that we would have to pay extra. This was a long running saga in which the manager was shouting and pointing at us, this behaviour from the manager even prompted another guest to offer his contact details should we require a witness. We even tried to resolve the problem by contacting Best Western’s customer services in Italy, without success. So if you like being shouted at and having to argue your way through your stay; Best Western Hotel Alessandro is the place to stay, or you can stay at the really nice hotel next door.
