This is a very nice place to stay. It has friendly service and a pleasant staff.

We always stay at Agate Beach Best Western. I would not consider staying elsewhere on the central coast of Oregon. We have postponed weekend plans because Agate Beach Best Western was not available. The hotel policy for pets is exceptional and this particular hotel treats pets with great care. This hotel and its staff treats patrons with great care. I rated the hotel as 'as expected' because it always is exceptional.

The folks there were very nice and helped us a lot. The location was right next to the Pacific Ocean and it was absolutely beautiful.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The rooms were extremely quiet for as many people were there. They had a huge room where people could just sit and look at the ocean.

We had a problem with other loud guests on our floor; Best Western management took care of the problem and reimbursed us for our inconvenience. Also, the hotel is in prime location for sightseeing and shopping. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again.

I feel it is one of the best for comfort and money. They are very nicely decorated and feel like home.

The front desk personnel were very aloof. They were not at all pleasant, especially the night crew.

They are always clean, and they have great pools for the kids. They always have good restaurants in them, and have nice seating areas in rooms. The bathrooms are clean most of the time. We always enjoy Best Westerns. They’re also economical for our family.

We've gone to this hotel for over 16 years when it was still the Windjammer. Every time we've gone there, we've been happy with our room and service. One time we tried to book a room with another hotel in the area, and it was a miserable experience.

This hotel made me feel important: They set up our room for my husband's birthday so it was decorated when we came in. There was a message in a bottle and some sparkling cider for us, also.

The Best Western at Agate Beach is great. The Best Western Pier Point Inn at Florence is bad.

The rooms should be ready when promised. 'Late checkouts on Sunday mornings burden our staff' is a weak explanation.
