Stayed for a weekend, reservations came up cancelled in their system but they still accomodated for the rate previously quoted. Desk clerk and the manager on duty were great and the person incharge of bfast was cordial even though we were late to bfast one day.

We arrived back in our room at 9 pm and the bed was not made and towels were not replaced. We had to go to the desk for fresh towels. We needed hair dryer and iron went to the desk came back to the room/both did not work! Manager had major attitude/needs more customer service training. Chris the asst.manager should run the place! Would suggest AAA re-evaluate their rating for this motel.

Good
For $ a night, you get what you pay for. The beds were uncomfortable and the bathtub ran out of hot water, but otherwise, the place was clean and quiet, and they had a hot tub. I'll probably stay there again when i go back to South Lake Tahoe,...

Good
I was a bit leary of staying in a 2 star hotel for a full week but this place really worked out for us. When we arrived at check-in, I asked the front desk gentleman if we could have a fridge in our room. (These, as well as microwaves and hair...

Okay
Employees were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and roomey enouph for two people. The best part of the whole deal was the location. Location, location, location. It was about a six minute walk to the casinos, and four dollar cab ride. In the...
They wre doing some repairs(construction) while we were there but we were in training for Heavenly Resort most of the day so it didn't bother us. For $$ a night we got fresh soap and towels every day and nothing of ours was touched the whole week....
Good location, good price and very clean, price is including continental breakfast, but expect to get wake up when stay at the bottom floor, you can hear people walking from the 2nd floor, and also when the 2nd floor turn on the shower, it was very...

The first sign I should have payed attention to was when my friend and I caught the nighttime manager watching porn in the customer service office. If I had taken this hint and found another hotel, we would not have had this terrible time to follow. The next day, after returning from snowboarding, we unlocked our door to find our hotel room was burglarized without a forced entry- but by someone who had a key! The first strange thing I noticed was that the maid had put fresh towels in the bathroom, but did nothing else- not even make the beds. We were not the only guests burglarized, either! We went to the office before we filed a police report, only to find a "manager" who showed no sense of urgency, shock or concern. He just said call the police and he did not care to see the room, nor did he wait for the police to arrive. He did claim he had never had a burglary before, but has had guests claim something was stolen- only for them to call back when home to say they had found it. I guaranteed him that my laptop and digital camera were not being overlooked- along with the other stolen items, such as my friend's camera, checkbook, ssn# card, medication, etc. etc. We were never offered a different room or any consolation, just rudeness. The kicker is that it's plain to see that this is either the work of an employee or an ex-employee who still has keys. It's the most ridiculous case of gross negligence I had ever encountered and I have no doubt that this motel should be held accountable as it is fully fault on their part. If someone broke the lock or if it was only us who had been burglarized, I could see differently, but our room was broken into by someone with a key- and they even locked when they were finished!
After we finished filing our police report, we obviously did not want to stay the second night there- it just did not feel safe. We would have driven home that night, but it was snowing too heavily to drive down the mountain. At 9:00pm, we had to search for another hotel just so we could feel secure when we slept. It's the most terrible feeling. What if one of us did not go snowboarding that day and was alone when the room was burglarized? What danger would we have been in? It's too scary to think about! My friend is still having nightmares. Even if you are staying in a frugally-priced motel, you still expect to have that basic security for yourself and belongings- at least from the staff. I'm not suprised, either, that the manager never even followed up with us on the situation. I have never been treated with such disregard and incompetence.

Good
I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past 4 years, and always find the rooms comfortable and clean. It's not a 5 star hotel by any means, however, if you want a decent place to stay for a reasonable price, this is your place. they have a nice...
