Unfortunatly I had reservations for 2 nights. Check in took 20 minutes, even though I was the only one at the desk, and my reservation was made 2 weeks prior as a Gold Crown Club member. The swimming pool looked great but was off limits for some reason.
The room... well it was very small, there was a leak from the a/c unit in the ceiling, dripping on the dirty carpet, the bathroom light didn't work, the walls were filthy, broken "egg crate" ceiling panels. There were no wash cloths stocked with the regular towels, $7.50 per day parking fee even though there were no other parking options, no parking garage security (seedy neighborhood).
There was no continental breakfast, not even a cup of coffee.
All of these "great" amenities for $108.00 a night.
Best Western should be ashamed to have their name on the building.

Check in is at 3pm but room was not ready to 3:40pm. Reservation called for roll away and when it came could not be unfolded because there is not enough room. The hallway was cooler than the room and in the next room the guests were smoking pot or maybe they had been smoking it in the hallway. Carpet so gross did not dare take off shoes. Funky, mildew smell along with the wet paint odor. Checked out that evening and went to the Marriott Courtyard 7 blocks down the street.

I went to Miami due to an illness to my mother and she was at the South Miami hospital across the street. That was the only reason I was staying there. It was fine. It served its purpose. It was not memorable, but neither was the entire trip.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Best Miami Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.
