The hotel is located in a very good position.05/07 A.DP. Renaissance period Palace which has recently been renovated thus restoring it to all of it's former glory. By the river Arno and only a two minute walk from the famous Ponte Vecchio. Via Tornabuoni (Florence's most famous shopping street) is also only a two minute walk in the other direction. Even though the hotel is on the Riverside to enter the hotel you must go via one of the numerous side streets for which Florence is so famous.

the location is right on the Arno river.the hotel is totally modern in its amenities. the decor of the hotel is old world class. marble,crystal,etc.top notch service. you are treated like you are the most important person in the hotel. i noticed that service being given to everyone. the morning breakfast was everything you could want from a breakfast buffet.eggs,pancakes,fresh fruit ham,sausage,sweet rolls,cheese,etc. the lobby bar was warm and inviting.it was a very pleasurable stay, and we will stay there on our next trip to Italy. Excellent
as good a deal as you can get in florence, and right on the river. it's a perfect home base for touring florence. the room was spacious and well-furnished.
