the hotel room was very run down. the rugs were coming up, the paper was coming down and there were two roaches we killed. however, if you can live with those things, you cannot beat the location for the price. the staff was friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at the Benchmark and found the staff to be very friendly. Also centrally located and within waliking distance of Beale Street.I would reccommend it. Make sure and use the Parking facilities provided, well worth 15.00 a day.
