44 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for business

Just returned from a week at the Bellagio. Our company paid for the first 3 nights, and we added an extra 2 nights. The hotel is beautiful. There isn't anything they haven't thought of when it comes to making a guest happy. To give you a good idea as to what kind of room we had, it was considered a standard room. We had a view of the fountains, ask for one! The room had a king size bed with down comforters. It was furnished with big closet-like cabinets and drawers; plenty of room for your clothes! Many amenities come with the room, but we were disappointed that we were not supplied with bathrobes. The cutains are on a room remote control so you can open and close from your bed, cool! The room's average cost was approx. $500 per night, but Bellagio gave us the room rate that the company paid which was about $250 per night. It's best to stay there in their off-season time when the rates are lower. Room service was fast and the people who work there aimed to please. If you want/need anything, just ask and they will do their best. The room was clean, but they didn't vaccum everyday like I thought they would. The bathrooms are marble and have a seperate deep bathtub and a seperate glass walled shower. Housekeeping was fantastic and gave us everything we asked for including lots of extra big towels, since we take 2 showers a day when we're on vacation. The Bellagio's Buffee was excellent! Well worth the $25 per person. We ate caviar, huge jumbo shrimp, lobster, filet mignon, rack of lamb, etc. to name a few of our meals there. They have a meal to please even the most pickiest eaters! I was, however, disappointed in their casino. The decor was bland and boring. It really had no theme to it like MGM or Paris. There weren't very many people in their casino all week either so I guess other tourists might have felt the same about it. The casino was probably the most quiet casino in Vegas! Their Spa is 55,000 square feet of pure luxury and relaxation. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. It is expensive, so we were glad to have had a break in the room rate. Bring your most comfortable shoes because you will do a lot of walking in this hotel as it is huge! Be prepared for a wait in the check-in line as it is always very busy. Check-out from your TV in your room so you don't have to wait in line before you go home. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to all.
