Guests enter an opulent lobby flanked by botanical gardens. Features include the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, 18 restaurants and cafes, world class shopping and the renowned Cirque du Soleil production show "O" - also the innovative, 65,000-square-foot Spa & Salon. ***Points of difference for the new Spa & Salon Bellagio:1) DESIGN - The overall design of this luxurious new spa and salon is Zen-influenced, balancing natural elements of earth (granite and shellstone), water (water walls and Watsu), fire (candles) and wind (fans) with clean, sleek features. The original Spa & Salon was 29,000 square feet. 2) FUSION - The spa's eclectic new international menu features treatments from Egypt, Indonesia, Thailand, India and Bali. Native American traditions are also incorporated. 3) VARIETY - The spa's 54 treatment rooms include 12 Skin Care Rooms with private showers, four Ashiatsu and two Thai Massage Rooms, two Vichy Rooms, two Hydrotherapy Rooms, a Watsu Room, an Aqua Room with a dry float treatment bed and four Couple's Rooms. 4) FITNESS - The Bamboo Room, a 1,000-square-foot fitness studio, offers a daily schedule of classes from yoga to Pilates plus periodic specialty programs; state-of-the-art Fitness Center include 20 treadmills with individual televisions, 10 cross trainers, 49 strength stations, spinning and cycling stations, Pilates equipment, four 100-pound boxing bag stations and more; flat-screen televisions located within a Wall of Mirrors; and 65 ceiling fans to keep things cool when the workout heats up. Fitness Center fee is $25 and includes full use of the spa vanity wet areas. 5) MEDITATION ROOM WITH A TWIST -Water walls surround the serene Meditation Room of Spa Bellagio. Candles, placed within these walls, will offer a warm glow and accentuate the flowing water. A special mix of New Age music and sounds of nature complete the soothing environment. This quiet respite is an ideal place to read, meditate, partake in the room's Reflexology Pebble Walk or simply relax. 6) SALON - The Salon's artistic directors, well-known Las Vegas stylist Stuart Matthews and Chicago stylist Lucie Ventura, is joined by Los Angeles' elite colorist Sandra Koven in this dynamic salon expanded from 10 to 18 stylist stations.
