Because of its location next to U of M, and the lack of any other hotels nearby (other than campus inn, which is owned by the same people and decorated exactly the same) this hotel gets away with being run down and rooms are tiny, dark and old. If ...

This is an expensive hotel that feels more like a cheap motel. The rooms need updating. The customer service was horrible. The rooms are not air conditioned! I will never stay here again.
