We could check in at 3am when our flight was delayed. No hot water for showers.“This hotel was a lot better when it was under the Best Western name. No hot water, scaled down breakfast, repairs upstairs and no elevator. Hauled my suitcase upstairs,...

Okay
I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights for a business trip. When I got there, my reservations were quickly and accurately confirmed and I was given keys to my room. This is an older hotel and some parts are showing their age. It is built in an "L"...

The location is convenient to the freeway. It was clean and reasonably priced. They have a friendly front desk staff. The parking area is well lit. Its quiet, with no street noise.
It was good accommodations for the price.
I am very likely
to return to the Bell Hotel Phoenix.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It wasn't overly clean or attractive, rather plain, old, and drab. But it sufficed.
The front desk person was helpful when I called back after leaving the hotel, to search for a cell phone I thought I might have lost there. She was very kind and helpful, with politeness too.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Bell Hotel Phoenix.
I would not recommend it to friends.

We made a last minute reservation when another Best Western was full on a three day weekend. With a senior discount we paid $140 for a smoking room with two double beds for two adults and two dogs. Their prices were not posted on the door.
Their written pet policy states pets cannot be left alone which would present a challenge in the Phoenix heat.
This is an older building, and the room was run down. The carpet was filthy and stained. The air conditioner went on and off sounding like a train throughout the night waking me up.
We were desperate as it was getting late, but if I had it to do over, I would try to call Hotels.com if I could not go online.
We had just stayed at a La Quinta in Orange County, Ca, with similar accommodations for around $100 and found everything to be much better.
