Beekman Arms Hotel and Delamater Inn Hotel - Page 1

It is a great place to stay, with a very old school feel, private and comfortable.

The hotel is a lovely, historic inn, near an event we enjoy. The rooms are pretty, the views are terrific and we can walk through the charming town easily.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The lighting was excellent. The chairs were quite comfortable and the bed was large and firm. The bathroom had terrific amenities, including bathrobes.

We have stayed and enjoyed the Beekman Arms for many years, but when we recently booked and overnight, we were for the very first time most disappointed.

We do not know if management has recently changed, but we stayed in outbuilding of Delamater Inn, which was a poorly constructed very cold outbuilding, with a poor staff person on duty to guide us there, lack of amenities in the room although the fireplace was nice. There were no pictures on the walls, and a lack of interior curtain, it would not close. "Breakfast" was so sparse and looked like yesterdays which was so unappealing we had to eat elsewhere.

It was a real disappointment due to past stays and price.
