The log cabin you've always dreamed of! Magnificent log B&B reminiscent of those built centuries ago in our Natioanal Parks located in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountains. This award winning B&B is set on 26 secluded acres, featuring nine beautiful guest rooms, great breakfasts and is just minutes from Franconia Notch State Park and Bretton Woods ski resort. The Bear Mountain Lodge is a beautiful log Lodge-style bed & breakfast that is reminiscent of those built a century ago in our National Parks out West. It's handcrafted from huge Eastern White Pine logs that measure greater than 20 in diameter. While rustic in appearance, rest assured that the Lodge offers its guests the highest quality accommodations. The Lodge features nine romantic guest rooms, several of which have in-room jacuzzis, steam showers and fireplaces. With double pillowtop mattresses and high quality linens, the beds are extremely comfortable. All rooms have private baths and lots of amenities. The Lodge is set back on 26 wooded, private acres with direct views of Mt. Washington, a walking trail and frontage on the Ammonoosuc River. The expansive deck is a great place to sit and enjoy an afternoon refreshment and in the evenings guests gather around the firepit to meet new friends. Guests can enjoy a country breakfast in the dining room which offers both group and individual tables. A pantry provides complimentary soft drinks and snacks throughout the day. Enjoy skiing, hiking, biking or golf? Bretton Woods, Cannon Mountain, Franconia & Crawford Notch State Parks are all less than a 20 minute ride, and two in-town Donald Ross golf courses offer some spectacular scenary as a backdrop to a great round of golf. If you need to stay connected, the Lodge has high speed internet access, a guest telephone with local and long distance calls included and Cable TV in each guest room.
