This hotel was infested with roaches. I am not talking about the palmetto bugs, because those are expected in FL. I am talking about the tiny brown ones that has thousands of babies. My friend and I walked in and turned on the light in the kitchenette and the babies scattered every where. We turned around and left immediately.

When planning our vacation, we decided that a side trip to Daytona was needed. We booked our room with this hotel. We did get a decent rate and thought we got a great deal.... but upon arrival, we were mislead. We were to stay 8 days here. The room that we got when we checked in was a suite. The fridge had rust, the stove only had 1 working burner, and the dishes were crusted with food. That evening when we decided to retire, we had a 3 inch cockroach squished between the sheets on the bed that my teenage daughter was to occupy. The front desk staff thought it an inconvenience to even bring us clean bedding. We also stated to them that the TV was green in color and that there was no remote. Again another inconvenience for them to even acknowledge they had a problem. We decided to cut our stay from 8 days to 3 just to salvage some vacation on the beach, but in the morning we were rudely interrupted by the maintenance man entering our room without knocking or even stating that they were maintenance.
After the 3rd day of this, we decided to head back to Orlando and scrub off all the remnants of this hotel. When we woke, the normal size cockroaches were running up the walls and were abbundant enough that we thought they would turn the lights on for us.
If you have children or even any respect for yourself, i suggest that you not stay here.
Nothing but roaches everywhere, dirty dishes, carpet is worn and dirty, smelled terrible. I would not let my dog even stay here. Had roaches on the walls in our teens bed etc. What a dump.

First, their website say there's a Florida resident discount. When we got there the girl at the front desk said "the rooms are already discounted". (The Florida resident discount would have saved us $15). The girl at the front was very rude and unfriendly. She didnt even smile and didnt greet us when we first walked in. we were having trouble with the key, we couldnt open d door to the room and we asked for help. Well, we got absolutely no help at all. She said she cant leave the desk. Geez, and she wasnt even remotely sorry when she said it, nor did she offer other alternative. From the outside, it didnt look like any of the pictures on their site. The place looks bad and cheap. We werent sorry we left.
we saw palmetto bugs in the room. the hotel was dirty. there were flies everywhere in lobby. a/c was broken in the room. the bathroom was bad. the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned. the carpets were bad. the sheets were dirty. exposed wiring....

When we went to check in, they were going to charge us a fee for early check in, since the room was ready, I didn't see the sense in this. She also stated because we went through Expedia for our room, it would cost us more.
So we went to lunch and came back at our check in time. She did give us an ocean front room at no additional charge. We went to our room and the air didn't work so they had to come up and change it out with a new one. The room was OK, but underneath the dresser was a lot of trash and dust. The bathroom had a lot of cigarette burns in it. We asked for a non smoking room and got a smoking room however, the room did not smell like smoke, thank goodness.
We asked for a toothbrush and they did not offer any. I asked them about the breakfast in the morning as that is what their site indicated they offered but they did not offer any. The doors did not close easily and we just were not that happy with the whole stay.
MY HUSBAND AND I WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED FOR THE PRICE WE HAD TO PAY. THE CARPET WAS SO FILTHY. THE BEDS WERE OLD. AND OH MY GOD...THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS ANCIENT AND YOU COULD NOT ADJUST BECAUSE THERE WAS NO KNOBS..IT HAD ONE SETTING OF MEDIUM COOL....
The dead roach that stayed on the floor in the corner our whole stay, we named him Leo. We had two rooms, one of which had to have the heater replaced, the other we had to use my eyeliner to turn on the television. It was pretty bad, the creaky...
We stayed in Room 426 and upon coming in after dark and turning on the light - Roaches and bugs by the dozen ran to hide. They were on a bed and on furiture also. Upon trying to get our money back, they would not grant it. Thr room had not been...
