My family (4 of us) stayed for 3 days at the Beach House in August 2005. We had stayed at the Beach House a couple times prior to this stay, so we knew what to expect.

This motel is on a beautiful spot of land in Mackinaw City and you get a gorgeous view of the Mackinac Bridge and Lake Huron from your room. The rooms here are more like small homes, each family has their own private spot to enjoy! Each room comes with a full-size refrigerator, love seat, and kitchen table. Very convenient hotplate for cooking and a grill for visitors to BBQ with if they choose to. The Beach House has an indoor pool and hot tub for relaxing in.

This property and everything on it are beautifully maintained by the owner and staff. The only thing that could have used some updating was the bathroom, it looked a little old to me. That would be my one and only complaint though. They have coffee and home-made muffins in the morning; which I thought was a nice little perk. I would give this motel 8 out of 10 stars. You'll enjoy your stay at the Beach House, we sure did!
