Baymont Inn and Suites Lake of the Ozarks Hotel - Page 1

I booked a Smoking room with Wi FI internet access as per their website boast. Guess what Smoking rooms DO NOT have internet access...of any kind...

I opened the window in my room to find 16 dead moths and other bugs on the window ledge, took photos of same.....there was MOSS growing on the window ledge nice and bright GREEN..... The wall by the air conditioners also had mold growing on it..again photos to prove same......

would I stay again ? hell no I checked out 2 hours after checking in and trying to contact a manager...oh and NO Manager was available... even though I checked out after 2 hours they still charged my credit card....I am still awaiting a refund..... The standard lamp in the room also had stains on the shade of dubvious origin as did the foot stool in the room...... The bathroom wall also had a nice BROWN mold growing on the wall........

We walked into the room and the beds were wrinkled. The floor was wet. To top it off, there was a disgusting present waiting for us in the toilet!!! Outside, in the parking lot, there was a boy camped out in his car (which looked like it would never pass state inspection) smoking his cigarettes, eating some kind of fast food, listening to loud music, and throwing his trash onto the parking lot. From my experience, there are no positives about this hotel. You might be better off staying in a trailer park.

I was very disappointed in outdoor pool, very dirty. grass growing in cracks w/in 16" of pool edge. grass at least 6"tall in area surrounding pool. Cigarette butts strewn in mulch surrounding plants by patio door leading to pool area from our room. had big plans to go there to relax this past weekend by the pool only to find it very unacceptable. I called a day ahead to make my reservation and specified a room by the out door pool, stating that we planned to spend most of our time outside by the pool. why wasn't i told the pool and surrounding area were not habitable? to me the whole situation was not acceptable. it was $217.00 not very well spent to say the least.

It's very clean and in a good location.

It was a nice stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff was courteous and helpful.
