Wyndham Hotel Group
I stayed at this hotel August 15th, 2009 with family and friends. We took advantage of the $131 Wet'N Wild Room Rate. When we check into our room after coming from the waterpark all day, the hotel advertised a rate of $59.95. I argued and tried to get that rate due to the fact that it was not advertised when we checked in they would not honor it saying the rate applied to single occupancy people. We were told by the front desk person (a fragile newbie who was working her first night on second shift alone) that we would have to wait until management arrived at 11:00pm before the issue can be addressed. At 11:00pm, we went back to the front desk to be greated by the witch from Hell (Michelle) who claims to be a Christian. Mind you this was 11:15pm at night. We did not go to sleep until 1:15am arguing with Michelle about the room rate and our refund of monies to go to another hotel due to being not satisfied with ants crawling in our room (we had small children in our room complaining of bites). She apparently called management (Director of Operations) behind our back and told him that we were rude and he stated for her to call the police and have us evicted. She never did that though are we argued and argued with her. The manager said that nobody was getting a refund regardless of the issues. To make a long story short that was one of many issues. Here are a few more reasons not to stay here - management sucks (does not care, the hotel and management do not give a shit about customer service, ants and roaches are horrible, room keys not functional, rooms smell mildewly, exercise equipment broke, staff not aware of where dumpster is located or other room supplies, no housekeeping on staff from 5:30pm to 7:00am Sunday morning, room phone not functional in one of the rooms, etc.). We moved rooms twice due to room issues because management and staff failed to give our money back. They did offer a third move, however, by that time we were frustrated because we just wanted our money back and did not want to move again at 11:15pm at night to experience more issues. In the end, we stayed to avoid a police scene. We will see what hapens when management supposedly arrives this morning before check-out. More to come....
By all means the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We read that they are doing a million dollars worth of renovations but i suppose they forgot to call the exterminator. When we walked in we were greeted by both baby and adult roaches scurrying...
I stayed at this hotel not to long ago. The 3rd shift guy was very helpful with making sure we had what we needed and let us know where we would be able to find things. The rooms were great eventhough I did have a problem with my shower head which I ...

Mediocre
We didn't like anything at this hotel. We will not be back to a "Comfort" Inn. We aren't really sure why they call it "Comfort," because it didn't feel clean, the floors looked stained and the noise level was horrible. We didn't get to sleep until 2 ...

Good
I just recently stayed at this hotel and I must say that I was pleased. The hotel was very close to the mall and Emerald Pointe waterpark. The room was clean. The pillows were great. The breakfast was good. Your average continental breakfast:...
When I get a chance to stay in a hotel, the first thing I want to do is take a nice, hot bubble bath, since the hot water in our old farm house isn't dependable enough for me to get many long baths at home. At the Comfort Inn in Greensboro, the...
