The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast offered eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, toast etc.
However, I thought it was overpriced. I have stayed in other Holiday Inn Express' that were $20 to $30 cheaper and just as nice. I could understand the price if was in a different location, but there is really nothing that spectacular about Chillicothe.
My husband and I were celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary and all the cabins in Hocking were sold out. We rode our motorcycles in from Dayton and the staff was incredible! They told us that we can park our bikes under the awning that night.....

The room was very nice. The room was just too expensive. I also thought that kids stayed free, but we had to pay an extra $10 for a bed for our daughter.
The price of the room was more than we usually spend for a motel for 1 night. Especially in Chillicothe, Ohio.
