Went to Austin to watch my team play UT. The hotel is about 4-5 miles from the stadium(not 1.5 as advertised). Maybe 5+ to 6th st...I would describe it as a motel, not hotel. All rooms were outside facing to parking lots(you can park your car inches from your door). Rooms seemed dated, but acceptably clean. Wifi worked well. Denny's in the parking lot for food if needed. Over all for the price it was ok. But that is if you get the price below $50/night. Motel 6 is closer and cheaper. So do your research. **Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The pool was absolutely filthy. We could not even swim in it, which was very disappointing for the kids. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all -- with a huge amount of bugs and leaves floating in it. Our room was somewhat grungy, the...
