Baymont Inn Grapevine Hotel - Page 1

Went to check out rooms for a corporate booking. Front desk refused to let use just look at a room without the Sales Director, who was conveniently at lunch at the time. When she did finally show, we were of course upset and stated we felt anyone else could have shown a room to us. She suggested we get a block of rooms elsewhere.

I asked to see a room to have a point of reference for corporate bookings. I was told I had to wait for Director of Sales to arrive. After waiting, I told them that I really could not afford to wait and was comfortable with anyone showing me an available room. I was told they would, but they must accompany me. I said that was fine. I waited again. When it became apparent they were not going to show me a room, I inquired about it. They said they were not "allowed" to show me a room until the Director of Sales arrived..... When the Director of Sales arrived, she refused to show us a room. The front desk staff and Director of Sales were very unprofessional. The Director of Sales stated they are a small business and this is how "she does things". Apparently, customer service is not a priority at this establishment.

I'm completely disgusted by our stay with this establishment. We choose this Hotel because we got a great price using our ATPE membership...Association of Texas Professional Educators. My wife and I are both teachers here in Texas. On this night we were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. We we arrived everything seemed fine. The elevator and hallways had a mold/mildew smell that was bad but we overlooked it because we were so excited to have a night out without our 2 children. We went to dinner and returned back to the hotel and decided to watch one of your pay movies in the room. There was a problem accessing the movie program so I called the front desk. I first spoke with Matthew. I told him I couldn't access the movies. He RUDELY told me "distressed" customers don't have that luxury and hung up on me??? I immediately called back and this time Dan picked up the phone. I told him I just called and told him I wasn't sure what a distressed customer was but I was a paying customer and I would like to order a movie. I pressed menu and it still didn't work. Matthew came to our room and said "Man we are slammed down there" I told him sorry for the inconvenience and I wasn't a distressed customer. He said if you don't know what a distressed customer is then you aren't one. Then we ordered American Gangster and watched 5 minutes of the movie and the faces were so black and blurry we had to call back and ask to adjust the movie. Dan said he can't fix it and he would reverse the expense. The next morning we were packing up our stuff to leave and my wife found a used bottle of spermicidal lubricant under the dresser. SICK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! People don't want to see evidence of what really goes on in hotels!!! I will pass the word to my fellow educators on our website and friend and family to NEVER STAY HERE!!!!

The hotel had a good location to other activities. I liked the nice room and the good service.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: It was a pleasant atmosphere and the desk receptionist answered questions about local activities and restaurants.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Baymont Inn hotel in Grapevine, Texas. It fulfilled all of my expectations. Primarily it was close to the family that I was visiting and I will definitely use it again.
