In general, the building is in a great need of repair and no one seems too concerned.
Positives: Location. View overlooking the bay. Price. AC cold. Room fairly clean and furniture in good condition.
Negatives. All common areas very dirty. Elevators were in terrible condition. Restaurant not open. Don't believe the photos on the website that show a dining room overlooking the bay. They borrowed that from someone else.
The bathroom was terrible. Lots of mildew. Cracks in fiber glass shower. No hot water.
If you just need a cheap place to crash and you want to be in the heart of Corpus Christi, this might work for you. If you have a picky wife and kids stay away from this place. Go to the Holiday Inn or Best Western. If you can afford the Omni and can get in, that's the place to go. Seems like CC really doesn't have many nice places to stay in the downtown/harbor area. This is a real shame because this is a beautiful city with many interesting things to do in a relative small downtown area.

The Bayfront Plaza Hotel might have a convenient location to the downtown area, but that is where the niceness ends. First of all the parking garage, had large potholes in the entrance and it was not a very well secured area. Secondly, one the...
