Bavarian Inn and Lodge Shepherdstown - Page 1

Had a great getaway with my wife for our Anniversary. I told the staff ahead time that we were celebrating and they even poured us complimentary champagne at dinner. Great wine list, great service. Our room had a fireplace and a great view of the Potomac River. I want to come back when its warmer so I can play golf at the neighbor private golf course that the hotels as an arrangement with. We drove around the course and it looks great....just a bit too cold for me to play in January. All in all I highly recommend. A perfect spot for Anniversary or romantic weekend. Shepherdstown is also very nice with quaint shops and other restaurants that are good too.

It is a beautiful location and a great place to get away. It has fantastic food and the rooms have jacuzzi, fireplace, king canopied bed and a beautiful view of the Potomac.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The staff and the wait staff are friendly and they give extra to the guests.

It was an outstanding stay. They offered excellent service and facilities.
