I just returned from a three day fishing trip to Choke Canyon and stayed at the Bass Inn. I have stayed at this establishment 2-3 times a year for the last 6-7 years and the quality of stay has deteriorated in the last few years.
The electrical outlets outside to charge boat batteries do not work for all rooms, there are no exterior lights anymore, lights were burned out in the room and not replaced, and worst of all there were blood stains on the sheets in one of the beds in our room!
I will never stay at this establishment during my future trips to Three Rivers. FYI, the motel is no longer owned by Nolan Ryan, his name is only attached to the restaurant next door.
