Okay
This is a beautiful old home that has only been updated to what is necessary. Rooms are large. View isn't much to look at and the parking really is bad. You just have to plan on doing a lot of walking.

Good
The parking lot is about 3 blocks away but the shuttle runs from 9am-10pm 7 days a week and only takes a few minutes. The staff is cordial and the food in the hotel's lounge is fantastic and well-priced, offering room service at no extra charge....
35 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We had a really good time here, but you have to understand that the historical quaintness makes for a really old slow elevator, small rooms, and an absolute valet nightmare. Closely read the Hotel website which does explain how to arrive with a car/bike and parking. You can easily walk to all the downtown shops and bars from this hotel and the rooms are comfortable with great A/C, water pressure, beds, cable, and staff. The Balcony Restaurant is awsome food and service for the money and a lot of fun. Great laid back place to party with friends and family, although not at all the incredibleness you would expect for the price - you are paying for the location.
