A friendly and welcoming 2-star hotel in the very heart of Venice, the Bartolomeo is situated no more than 2 minutes' walk from one of Venice's most recognisable landmarks, the world-famous Rialto Bridge. Tucked away in a tranquil, typically Venetian alleyway, this small, simply-furnished hotel is carefully maintained and offers all guests rooms with views; either onto an inner courtyard, or the narrow calle in front of the hotel. Due to its size, staff at the Bartolomeo don't need to rush, and can take their time assisting guests with their itineraries or dining suggestions. Venice is literally at your fingertips when staying in this privately-owned hotel which not only offers value for money, but also a pleasant base from which to discover Europe's most romantic city (guests should note that due to the historic nature of the building, there is no elevator).

30 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Hotel Bartolomeo is in a perfect location. Very close to the Rialto Bridge and two stops from the train station, it is easy to get to and get back to after wandering the city. The staff is friendly and the rooms are small and simple, but clean and adequate. The shower is very tiny, but sufficient. The breakfast is a bit sparse, but everything else was great.
