We would have been satisfied with a comfortable room in a place that was accurately represented by their website. Instead it was clear that the photographer had the talent to hide the blemishes and wrinkles. What we found was the equivalent of a cut-rate motel off Route 66, where a cross country trucker needed no more than to sleep for a few hours. (Perhaps the idea was to keep visitors out of their rooms and in the shops and restaurants.) The room was dark and dingy with stale air and beds barely more comfortable than a slab of wood. The staff, though friendly on check-in, was thereafter a bit too lackaidasacal for our liking. The included continental breakfast was not ready until 8:30 (kinda late for a Monday morning). No apology either, just an excuse, that the pool area was not open at the advertised time, because the guy hadn't yet shown up to add the chemicals. For the price, one typically gets a lot more comfort and amenities than this place offered, even in much more touristy areas.
