Located in the Central Business District, just one block from Canal Street and two blocks from the ambience of the historic French Quarter. The building was constructed in 1931 and it still features the original art deco stone and granite facade.

Got a very good deal through hotel's direct reservation. Lobby under construction but never affected. Rooms are great.. nice bathrooms, and bed was very comfortable. A block away from Canal St., and 2 blocks to Bourbon. Staff were helpful especially
We were offered free parking, and checked in as early as possible, but the parking lot was full. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The view was lousy, the lobby was under construction, and it was a long walk to the ac
I liked the location 1 block of Canal St. and 1&1/2 of Rampart st. Staff is very helpful and knowable. The hotel was very clean and except for a few guest very quiet. I will return there on my next visit in New Orleans. O yea only 3 block from...
We travel to New Orleans frequently and wanted to try a new place to stay. First I'd like to say that Iayana and Carla are wonderful! It's worth booking directly through the hotel to book with them. They do have parking at the hotel and it's worth...

Okay
Absolutely no amenities, just a place to stay and shower, which was all I needed. I would not take anyone there but I don't mind staying myself. No morning coffee.
It looks to be undergoing some renovation. There are ceiling leaks, very...
Great location for all to do. Within walking distance to the French Quarter. The hotel was very clean and neat, even though the hotel was under renovation. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was very pleasant and nicely priced. Would stay...
The location was great. A very short block to Bourbon St. It's newly renovated. When I stayed there some rooms were still being worked on. The staff was really nice and helpful. I had reservations to the Canal Street Hotel, they overbooked and sent...
Raw sewage dripping from the ceilings, public areas that smell, rooms that haven't been cleaned in decades. Even the cab drivers warn people not to stay here. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. Luckily, there was room in...
2 of my friends and I went to NO for the first time for the Essence Music Festival. The location is great cause you are not necessarrily in the mix of everything but you are close to everything. Bourbon is walking distance, you can catch the trolly...
53 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Not only was the carpeting and the bathroom less than clean but I was missing a pair of sunglasses, 2 neckchains, a watch and $2,100 that I had hidden in a bag in my closet.
When I came back to my room, it was obvious that not only was it cleaned while I was gone, it was "cleaned out". I could tell that someone had spent some time going through everything in every drawer and in every part of the closet. I would never go back to this place.
When I reported it, they offed me nothing except to call the police. I declined because I didn't have time to fill out a police report, I was on my way to a family event. I sent the hotel manager a coment card with all the details and he never responded.
The whole thing was my worst experience in the many dozens of times I have visited New Orleans.
