57 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
When we first arrived here, we were impressed with the elaborate lobby filled with wonderful chandeliers, dark paneling and lots of brass. However once we arrived in our room we were somewhat disappointed. Although the room was small, we have found that to be somewhat prevalent in the places we stayed at in England. However, it wasn't as clean as we've experienced previously or anywhere near as grand as the lobby. The rates are pretty much in line with other places as well. And the view was nothing to write home to the family about.
The hotel did have a nice pool as well as a gym to work out in and a lovely restaurant called Winstons. You can get a nice full English breakfast here as well. All in all, if we ever return to Blackpool, we would probably look for a different hotel to stay in. The place wasn't bad on the whole of things, but when we are on vacation, we like to have things a little bit nicer than what we're used to normally. But if you only need a place to stay for one night, then it would be okay to stay here.
