Banyan Harbor Resort

Banyon Harbor was a great place to stay. I was a little skeptical after some of the older postings I read before going. After checking in I was pleasantly surprised. The Pool has a great view of the harbor and is super nice. The resort is very clean and well maintained. We stayed for ten days and were in two different rooms (one week timeshare unit J119 and two days rental unit K125 ) both rooms were nice and recently remodeled. Both rooms had A/C and views of the Ocean from the lanai. Kiki and Ginger were very accomodating. The Location is great and just a few minutes from the airport, costco and local shopping. I would stay again, its was a nice place to stay for my family. Its not a multi Million dollar sprawling Hotel on the beach, It is a very clean and family friendly Condo for people who like to stay in condo's.

I really enjoyed my stay. Yeah, it was built in the 70's, but the unit I was in had been recently renovated. New furniture, appliances, flat screen TV, etc. I would definately catagorize this place as a condo or townhouse instead of a resort. If you are looking to be pampered, you probably won't like it, but if you want an excellent location and all the comforts of a house instead of a cramped hotel room, you should give Banyan Harbor a try. The pool is awesome. It is located on top of a hill and has a great view. Eat breakfast at the Beach Hut (right across the street).... trust me!!!

I just love any hotel in Hawaii.

It's easily the worst location I've been to in my ten trips to Hawaii. You should look elsewhere.
