This hotel is terrible. I would rate it -10 or less.
The positive comments that I can read on the trip advisor page or other web pages were probably written by the Belgravia hotel itself...if you can call this a hotel. The pictures that you see are not what you will find. It is only lies.
Do not be confused with the Bed and Breakfast Belgravia that is located at 64-66 Ebury Street. This Bed and Breakfast is good and has nothing to do with the Hotel Belgravia.
There was a bad smell of food in the building, when you enter, you wonder if there is a reception and if the staff is qualified to run a hotel. Everything look suspicious. They ask you to pay cash immediately.
We had a room that looked like a closet. It is in fact half of a room that they split in two by constructing a wall (obvious when you look at the frises on the ceiling).
The bathroom was tiny and I am not obese ! I am not joking if I say that you can basically at the same time sit on the toilets, wash your hands in the sink and put your feet in the shower.....
The room was dirty: no soap, no trash bin, only one small towel per person, broken TV, broken furniture (junk stuff), dirty kettle on the floor to prepare tea because there is no space to put it on a table.
I did not feel safe in the room, no safe locker when you close the room.
The continental breakfast is just junk food and it looks dirty.
Check the expiration dates for the yoghurts. I went to the "dining room" in the evening to access free internet and I saw that the milk that they serve you for the breakfast was still on the table as well as the eggs.
The staff gather together to smoke in the dining room during the evening although it is forbidden to smoke in the building....and you still have junk food around that you will eat the next morning.
We booked 7 nights in this hotel but after 2 days of nightmare, my friend and I decided to look for something else. We paid 87 pounds/night for this room!
We were lucky and found only one block away on the same street a good hotel that was with no comparison better (clean, big room, big bathroom, good breakfast) and for the same price.
