A great honeymoon castle

48 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
After an overnight flight from New York and a four hour drive from Dublin, this was the perfect place to begin a honeymoon.
I had stayed here before in 1989, so I knew that this where we should begin our Irish trip. The honeymoon (Riverview) suite was very lovely. The view of the brook and the sound of the water were both wonderful. The bar was a great place to meet other guests & the locals. The food was excellent.
I highly recommend Ballynahinch Castle as a must stay while in Galway.
