Horrible
female with an economy budget, traveling for leisure

All I can say is ewwww. My Husband and I were passing through town and needed an inexpensive room being that we were only in town for enough time to catch some zzzz's. However, our $73 would have been better spent on some blankets and staying in the

48 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

This motel is old, filthy, moldy, sticky, smelly, noisy, falling apart... We have stayed in less expensive places before and this is the worst motel we have ever experienced. If there were any other vacancies in town we would not have stayed here -

Worn out – Posted Aug 05, 2008

Horrible
60 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

The Bali-Hi is 42 years old and has not been renovated significantly since them. Claiming a renovation in 2005 is fraudulent. The place is simply worn out. To begin with it badly needs a paint job. The rooms are dirty. Furniture and rugs are stained badly. The TV has a fuzzy picture. It needs to be replaced too. The toilet set was painted (but needs to be replaced). There is a big chunk of rusted metal where a bathroom mirror is supposed to be. The "continental breakfast" is composed of day-old rolls and bread.

To whomever is reading this - please BEWARE!

I stayed at the Bali Hi a couple years ago when my family was in Richland for a family reunion. While staying there, we found multiple bugs in our rooms and my cousin even found mouse droppings in the pull out couch. We were offered other rooms but never given a discount of any type.

I recently came back for another family reunion and they had a big sign saying 'new management' which made me think it would be better than the last time. Knowing what we had encountered before, we looked at the room and it smelled of urine so we decided to check out after only being on the premises for a total of 4 minutes. We told the front desk clerk that we were not going to stay due to the condition and she called the owner who told me they would not refund my card. I asked if there was anything stating that we would not receive a refund and she said not that she knows of. I was told that I could call or come in and talk to the owner if I wished. This motel is scummy and has horrible customer service. The only reason we wanted to stay here again is because it is within minutes to our family but I would not suggest anyone stay here. A horrible experience both times.

I would never stay here again – Posted Feb 24, 2007

Horrible
27 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I have stayed here two times and the first time we found a rat in the drawer. The phone didn’t work, somehow the phone cord was chewed, so the phone didn’t work. It was the worst experience of my life and they didn’t do any thing about it.

The manager was very rude and didn’t to anything to try to make up for the horrible experience. I will never stay there again and I will tell everyone never to go there. I feel the health department should be called.

Excellent
20 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The rooms were good for the price, singles with king size beds! Who imagined that one up! We're used to getting a single room and being stuck with a queen size bed, that was amazing in itself. The bathrooms were recently remodeled too, so the tiling was brand new, some of it didn't match, but it looked very nice.

The amenities were great, microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffee makers in every room! Also, they're the only motel I've seen to have rooms with three beds! It’s amazing for big families. Cable TV was cool for those boring times, HBO was useful, but the location was amazing for shopping and just be-boppin’ around town. Parks, restaurants, bars, shopping, and a hospital are all within easy walking distance. The Jacuzzi was huge and wonderful. I would totally recommend this motel to anyone, young or old, long stay or short stay!

Okay
43 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business

We arrived in Richland to find our confirmed reservation at another hotel cancelled. The only room was at the Bali Hi. We had to stay there almost two weeks while we waited for our furniture to arrive and found a place to live. We were very pleased with our stay!
