This hotel was VERY disappointing. Touted as a 4-star hotel, the service and accommodations were anything but. I stayed at this hotel in January '08, and the weather was not good (mid 30s at night, highs in the 50s). This meant a lot of time was spent indoors, and this hotel was not very accommodating. I was in a 300 person travel party, so some slippage of service is understandable. But the rude attitudes, bad service, unapologetic feelings, and overall lack of service was truly remarkable. When I checked in, the first set of keys I was given did not work, which meant I had to return to the front desk to wait in a very long line, again. I tried to get breakfast at 10:55 (the restaurant closed at 11) and I was refused service. Many of our rooms were not available at check-in time (4 PM) and the maid service was very slow during our visit. The hotel is very old, and the rooms definitely show it. The entire property has stained walls, floors, and ceilings. Overall, the most disappointed I have ever been in a hotel.

Everything was fine, but I do not like having to pay extra to use workout facilities.

The hotel was well run and it had a friendly staff.

Awful hotel. We're surprised that this place is not shut down by the Florida Public Safety/Sanitary Commission because it definitely IS hazardous for public health!!! Two-star hotels in poor countries would show more consideration for customers than this rotten place. Shame on Bahia’s owner.

The location is slightly off the main path. The comfort and the service were excellent. The restaurant food was fair, I had expected better. The ambiance of the hotel was very nice. There were only two computers, one down most of the time and in a bad location.
