20 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The hotel is close to Disneyland. The driveway is inconvenient to get at from some directions.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Ayres Inn.
I might recommend it to friends.

29 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for business

I stayed here because it was the only recommended hotel at the business course I was attending for the week at Chapman University.

The insulation of the room was so poor that I could hear the people talking next door along with their 5 am wake up calls in the morning which kept ringing until 6 am. I assume that some of the doors were not soft-shutting because I heard slamming doors all night for the duration of my stay. It's very frustrating when you are trying to do business. The hotel did not have a working computer for email access so you were out of luck if you didn't have a laptop.

The breakfast was decent, they had strong coffee, but the breakfast room was always busy so it was difficult to find an empty seat. I had to share a table with other diners 2/3 mornings.

I would not stay here again. I would much rather have stayed across the street at the Double Tree or across the freeway at the Radisson.

The location was good and the service was excellent. My boss has stayed there many times and recommended it.

I am very likely to return to the Ayres Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Great
Hotel Review by a traveler from Monrovia, CA - Posted May 25, 06
36 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

The location was remote from other things. We were very comfortable here. The night service was bad and slow. We had to call several times for extra blankets and pillows. The buffet was glorious. We go several times a year just to relax.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: The day crew was excellent. My room was top quality with fireplaces. The hotel had separate workout rooms.

I am not likely to return to the Ayres Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
