I love this resort

42 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I am so particular about hotels - regarding cleanliness. This has got to be one of the cleanest hotel/resort we've ever stayed at. Me and my family have stayed several times, with different types of rooms from the 1br all the way to the 3 br which is larger than any house I've ever lived in!
Only drawback was the pool is really not big enough for the number of potential guests at the hotel.

31 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I have stayed in this hotel twice now in the off-season. The prices are excellent. The rooms are spacious with tile and carpet floors. Many rooms have a Jacuzzi tub. The swimming facilities are excellent with indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and lazy rivers. The property is located within walking distance of a handful of bars and restaurants. The Avista is in North Myrtle Beach which is not as busy as other parts of the area. I will stay here again.
This hotel made me feel welcome: I liked the friendliness of the check in staff. The room is warm and comfortable.

The room was very clean and spacious. The room was exactly as described on the Web site. There was a great view of the ocean. The hotel was right on the beach; it also had several nice rooms and a great exercise room.

This is a nice hotel, it's brand new. But the parking is cramped and I would hate to try and park a large vehicle. The facilities seemed clean and there are a lot of pools, hot tubs, lazy rivers, etc. I was given a coupon for a free drink at the bar at check-in, which I appreciated. The TV in the bedroom is almost too low to watch while in bed. I actually liked the artwork in a hotel room for once! I would definitely stay here again, the room was huge!
