Out skiing for the day and have a craving for good bratwurst, go for it. Comfortable atmosphere, and the best apple strudel. They even offer early bird specials if you are one of th efirst off the mountain.
My husband & I stayed there 1 night in June for our anniversary. I woke up the next day to find over 20 bed bug bites on me and half a dozen on my husband. I also killed two large spiders in the room. The guy checking us in was less than helpful...

Would give a zero if possible. The owner of the hotel yelled at me and told me to "get my stuff and get the f**k out of there". DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!
Terrible hospitality. After a snowstorm, steps from the hotel were not shoveled...
While we were there some of the roof actually fell onto some poor guests' cars. We were lucky that it wasn't us, but this just speaks for the condition of this old unkept property.
Forget the moaners,stay here !!

You are in the mountains. Did they tell you when you booked that your view would be of a wall where trash was stored? Then there were the bed bugs! This was horrible!
A promise to change rooms so we spent time we wanted to be hiking packing up only to come back and learn they said the internet said they could get rid of the critters by steam cleaning. Seemed to work since we had no new welts, but a new development in the morning the floor was soaked and screen frozen due to a broken hose outside. Then no room in the hotel had hot water.
Yes, it is close to the ski slopes but do not stay here! unless you want a tough, unpleasant few days. Our room was really in the basement but looking at the place all the rooms must be dark. Who wants to be in the beautiful mountains and have no light! It was awful! We are American citizens who lived in Europe for 30 plus years and visited the East Bloc countries when they were under Communist control and though the hotels were primitive we never had such a bad experience. Never had bedbugs, and rarely had a loss of hot water!

If you like plunging a toliet after every flush, and standing in water as you take a shower, you'll love this place. The rooms are small and hot. The do give you a fan. We reserved a room with a view. We got a view of a wall.
