I stayed in the hotel for 3 weeks. The air conditioners sound like they were installed in 1930, and work about the same.
I was told when I checked in that room service would change the sheets and towels 2x week. They only came once and that was because after 2 weeks I called the desk and insisted they come service my room. When I went to the front desk, the manager told me that if I wanted my sheet and towels changed to just bring them down to the office and he would exchange them for me.
When I questioned him about the room service, he babbled a lot like I was too stupid to know the difference. And what made it worse, he could barely speak English. Whenever I had a question, his standard response was "we don't provide that here", at least that is what it sounded like to me. I also felt like I was staying in the ghettos. People were camped out on the balconies. I would have to say that in all my years of travel I have never stayed in such a questionable place.
