"Excellent food, very friendly staff"

The restaurant menu is very good and the food is outstanding and excellent value for money. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly considering that we did not speak German. Their English was very good. The restaurant and bar is popular with the locals and is hence very festive on weekends. The rooms were average, but the service and food would make us return there in a heartbeat. Hotel is well positioned to the maiskogel ski area (just across the road) and for picking up the ski bus to Kaprun (10min by skibus). The ski rental shop is also only 200m away (Sport Glasser). We found that the hotel was also very easy to get to fom salzburg. Journey takes 1hr 15min. Overall, a great weekend getaway!
