Well as we pulled up to the lovely Atrium the out side was just splendid, a huge wall of windows just made me happy about staying there. That only lasted in till I walked inside the main lobby, there I was greeted with a just divine construction site that screamed safety. The front desk lady just was pleased with keeping her conversation going with the man leaning against the desk as my party and I waited in line only to be greeted a few minutes later. Once we were checked in our party was instructed to walk around the construction site and enter the elevators around the corner. We were a bit hesitant to enter the said elevator mainly because of "Construction Only" sign hanging over the call buttons. After we wondered around looking for another elevator, we then built up enough courage to go up the dreaded elevator. Once we found our rooms and had a chance to check things out we started to notice the just wonderful chipped and scratched furniture hidden behind the walls of room 244. We were told that there was a second bed in the "Living room" when we booked over the phone and as it turned out they were right, there was a pull out bed hidden in the couch. This, as is all pull out beds was extremely unsleepable. Also be careful of the very very very hot water that comes out. The pool was closed and the view was of a big billboard, not even a cool vegas sex one it was a billboard about billboard ads, lame. The next morning I was hopping to check my email on there internet access downstairs. I was glad to see that the free internet was not WiFi.... but a POS dell that was tied down to a table in the lobby that was limited to 15 Minutes of use. So much for some coffee and nevadaappeal.com . And oh to mention the coffee, it sucks!!! at the 97 I paid that night you would think it would come with a continental breakfast, WRONG!!! I feel like I am venting now again but really these are the things that happened and I will say that I am much happier with the Hampton Inn that I am staying at in Henderson but I will say this, if you are going to go to the strip why not just stay at a hotel on the strip.... It took us about 30-40 minutes to walk there and about 20 to walk back after we realized how long it took to walk that distance.
Dont Stay Here Unless you want the Crappy service Plus a Expensive rate. Oh an man I forgot to talk about our sweet TV.

I only stayed here because I attended a conference in this hotel. Check in just took forever. The clerk was too chatting. In the room, the refrigerator door was open, so I had to wait a bit to store my food inside. There was a colored smear on the sink vanity in the room. The TV did not work in the front room. The restaurant food was decent, but the service was poor.
They have a courtesy van to and from McCarran. I did NOT wait long going from McCarran to the hotel. The van also will take you to the Strip but there is no return service which is ok. But, I had an early morning flight out back to McCarran. The driver never showed up!! However, the hotel paid for the cab service.
So, I guess you just have to be lucky to get a decent room here. When I travel, I expect there to be some type of quality check before I arrive. I do not spend time calling for repairs to the room.

Booked online. Was trying to get booked into the Tuscany Suites around the corner. I messed that up and ended up at the Atrium Suites.
We booked over 2 months in advance and once I found out Hotwire put us in the Atrium, I called and asked for a non smoking room, 2 months in advance, I was told they didnt have any NS rooms available. They said they'd try to get me a NS room (I'm allergic to smoke) but they never did get us a NS room. The "stinky ashtray" smell grabbed us right off the elevator and filled the halls the whole time. The room also smelled of stale cigarette smoke the whole time. I hated being there!
The suite aspect, well, there are two separate rooms but the BR section is walled off from the living area by a strange 45 degree wall cutting the living area way down. It was crowded in there with just two people.
Their promo on the websites says free internet in the rooms. I couldnt get my computer to sign on so called the desk. I was told that they did have internet BUT, it costs $ 10.00 a day- what a rip off! I stayed in $39 and $49 motels enroute to Vegas and they all had free internet.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I liked.

Okay
I stayed here in an attempt to save money from the Strip Hotels like the Bellegio. Our room was clean and fairly large. 3 travelers of my trip more than comfortably lived in the room for 8 days! The service was great. Van service took us to and from ...
