Atrium Inn Schertz - Page 1

I spent 8 nights here while in San Antonio, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atrium (pool/spa area) is abundant with tropical plants, so it's green and pretty. Several groups of our family were staying here, so we'd gather round the wrought iron tables to visit and enjoy the outdoors in. We also enjoyed the lovely pool and the (adequate/typical) spa. The "breakfast room" is adjacent, so one can either stay in the air-conditioning while looking out , or take your brekkie to the atium. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location convenient to local attractions.

What I didn't like was that there was no equivilent indoor gathering space (for when it gets too hot). After breakfast, that room is locked. Also, I would have liked the pool to be open early in the morning for quiet swims. Because I was on an extended stay, the hours were ok for me, but were I traveling, I would have been really bummed at not having the chance to swim and/or soak in the spa.
