47 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
1) They didn't tell me that the hotel was under construction - my room smelled like paint and still had work to be done.
2) In a bad part of town.
3) The maid cleaned my room prior to checking out! I had taken my bags down to the car but didn't want to check out until routine check-out time since I was there for a conference. I found her in my room when I returned to my room on a conference break. I complained at the front desk and they assured me I could have the room unitl 1 p.m. but I went to my room again around noon and found that the maid HAD DONE IT AGAIN. She had again been into my room and completed all cleaning. When I discussed this with the manager, he seemed more concerned that someone had told me I could have the room until 1 p.m. since noon is checkout time. He wanted to know which one told me that but never asked what the maid looked like.
3) Nice furniture in a cheap, old, renovated room.
4) Hair still on floor of bathroom and pubic hair on toilet upon check-in!
