Wake to the sound of rain forest birds in our spacious Big Island home. There is a fabulous new swimming pool with waterfall, turtle and reef scene mosaics. The three-acre yard includes orchids, ornamentals and fruit trees. Hot tub. Sumptuous breakfast of local fruit, homemade granola, homemade muffins. With vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows, the space is bright, airy and decorated with high quality art and blooming orchids. Private baths throughout. The common areas feature a library, game table and games, WiFi, kitchenette, washer/dryer and phone. A screened-in balcony and breakfast nook overlook the front yard. Art studio space, supplies and classes available. Marklyn is fluent in German.

The rooms were all decorated nicely and the work of local artists were on display. There were many extras that I enjoyed such as the closet with games, and beach towels you could borrow. The days when we went to the beach we could borrow pool...

We stayed there for 3 nights from Dec. 15 - 18 and truly enjoyed it. Markie and Jerry thought of every single details their guests need, they were great hosts and made you feel so much at home. Breakfast was delicious.
