45 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was not bad. The rooms do smell of smoke and the carpet is not that clean. The bed was comfy and it served it's purpose. I would stay here again and take my own spray to eliminate the smoke smell. The front desk was very nice and friendly. The casino is fair and the slots are much more loose than the casinos on the strip.

casino stinks of cigarettes, after you check in you will notice that your clothes reek. clientele appears to be typical local vegas crumbs. lots of old people sucking cigs and breathing with oxygen tanks, loading noisy machines with money as fast they can while they smoke and press buttons. located in seedy shopping center in seedy neighborhood, hotel has two towers, old tower three stories, kind of stinky, not real clean, has shitty beds. new tower seven floors, seems fairly decent, some good beds, 7th floor suites range from impressive to pretty crummy with old threadbare carpet/curtains. TV sucks, movies/porno/internet available for extra price. three bars but for the most part bartenders seem to be ignorant and arrogant, beer is expensive. recently doubled cost of buffet, if you dont have a strong stomach the buffet will give you a good colon cleansing, coffee shop is a maybe. lots of security/cameras. lots of sirens, mostly seem to be ambulances since this place is full of old people. seems to be on a downhill slide, bought/sold several times in the past few years. gamble here if you are comfy around the lower middle class 60ish cigarette crowd.

Awful

The hotel was dirty and I did not feel secure. The casino was smoke filled and noise came through the room floor all through the night.

I am not likely to return to the Arizona Charlie's Decatur.
I would not recommend it to friends.

66 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

The location, comfort, and services were good. The only problem was the ice machine on the floor was not working for four days and was reported twice.

This hotel made me feel practical: It served a purpose.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Arizona Charlie's Decatur.
I might recommend it to friends.
