45 year old woman with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I went to the Arizona Biltmore in August 2007 for a 3 day stay and enjoyed every minute! I love architecture, so this was a pilgrimage to a "Frank Lloyd Wright" influenced property and what a gem it is. Plus, Taliesin West is a short driving distance away. An added bonus was the concierge guided tour of the grounds which was fabulous! I stayed in a huge beautifully appointed room with windows that fully opened to let in the wonderful warm breezes at sunset and sunrise. My package included spa services which were done by friendly, sweet and personable staff! What a treat! I had a great breakfast at The Cafe, a fabulous breakfast and lunch at The Biltmore Grill and a world-class dinner experience at Wright's. I also had one of their signature souffles and wine in the Wright Bar which is so low key and relaxing in a comfortable setting. I really enjoyed escaping the summer heat in the pool at night watching a movie poolside while floating in an inner tube. Eating s'mores and drinking hot chocolate by a fire while being serenaded by a singing cowboy was a treat. And, watching a cigar maker roll cigars while enjoying a glass of cabernet and visiting with the other guests was really fun! I really appreciated that the Biltmore offered all of these activities on site which kept me on the hotel property the entire time so that I could thoroughly enjoy my stay there without having to travel off-site for entertainment. This really was an experience which I thoroughly enjoyed and I can't wait to return again soon !!!

The Biltmore was fabulous! The sunny days by the pool and the warm nights on the town were ones to remember. Everything about this resort was all my husband and I hoped for, and my well-behaved children were in love with it!

I don't usually leave reviews, but my experience at the Biltmore was horrible. I am now assuming it is well talked about because of the length of time it has been around. We were not treated well, it was old. We were not even asked as we were leaving how we enjoyed our treatments. We were not told there would be a major issue getting into their facility because of other events taking place. (We spoke to them via phone multiple times before arriving that day and the previous one.) Once on the property, if you don't use their parking attendants (whom we did ask for directions) you will waste precious moments driving around their large location. We had to ask 4 employees how to reach the non marked spa, all of whom acted like we were dirt. With so many delightful spas in Scottsdale to choose from, this will not be one I will try again.

Girls trip to Scottsdale, everyone recommended the Biltmore. It was horrible, from the spa itself - dirty, old; to the staff - surly and downright rude. We were not given clear directions despite several calls to the spa, we were also not told there would be a major event on the grounds the day of our treatments, making access nearly impossible. The spa was not well marked, and had to ask several times for directions, once we were at the resort. The staff was curt at the very least, and never asked how our treatments were when we were leaving. Don't get tricked into thinking this is one of the best, it is clearly not. Instead, schedule something from the JW Marriot Camelback Inn! The Biltmore staff could take a few lessons from the staff at the Camelback!

We had a wonderful experience. It was a beautiful place and the staff was excellent. I had trouble getting a coffee maker that worked. We went through four coffee makers and another guest finally gave us hers. The hotel did take off the charge.

This hotel made me feel secure: It was well lit, with plenty of people around as well as staff.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa.
I might recommend it to friends.
