The Arena Hotel is located on The Alameda in downtown San Jose, one block from the HP Pavilion, home of the San Jose Sharks. After a sporting event or concert, guests can slip into two-person jetted tubs in the privacy of their guestrooms. Accommodations offer one king bed or two queen beds and feature kitchenettes with microwave ovens, refrigerators, and coffeemakers. Two-room suites are available. All accommodations include cable television with pay movies and stereo systems. Arena Hotel offers complimentary breakfast buffets with hot items every morning, as well as complimentary light dinners Monday?Thursday. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby every day. Booked this place for proximity to Shark Tank, but was worried what we'd get. Very surprised by the extra clean, spaceous rooms, well-decorated lobby and included meals. Expected a few stale rolls for breakfast, but they had a full spread of food. ...

I regularly stay at Arena Hotel when in San Jose for business. The rooms are large and very clean with the service being great. The only issue I have is the beds are a little too soft for me and the matresses could need replaced. Breakfast buffet ...

Room had more amenities than anticipated--very large jacuzzi tub, apt. sized frig, microwave, small cupboard (some rooms have 2 burner stoves!), quiet, comfortable beds. Courteus staff. Ample, on-site, safe parking. Breakfast and dinner! Only...

Great price, comfortable bed, nice TV's, I like that the parking is behind the hotel.Left over cookies in the cabinets, not enough sugar & creamer for the coffee. I had a good experience while at the Arena Hotel, it was clean & a good price.

Both breakfast and dinner buffet.No instructions for spa bath in room. It was convenient; enjoyed the stay. Only problem was trying to use spa bath in my room.

I liked the "old" charm of the place and the free breakfast was fantastic! The best layout I have ever seen. Dinner was fine also. The hotel was close to my business contacts and the room was large and comfortable.

it was so very quaint.The paint was a little drape. It was great very charming and inviting. I cannot wait to back to San Jose and stay there again. The staff was helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great weekend.
