Unlike many people in Waikiki, I was here on business and on a budget. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, even giving me a bowl and spoon so I could save on breakfast and eat cereal in my room! The rooms are clean and attractive, with fridge and microwave. There is wireless in the lobby and cable high-speed internet in the room.
I would recommend this for people here looking for a cheap, clean nice but not-many-frills hotel. If you're here on a honeymoon, maybe save up for something fancier. If you're here on a budget but don't want a hostel, book it.

For the love of God - book another hotel. In addition to the worst hotel experience you'll ever have regarding cleanliness and niceness of the hall/rooms, you'll definitely have hookers next door who will be walking in and out with their clients 10

First thing first, as of January 27, 2009, this hotel is undergoing renovations, so my review may be worse than what the hotel deserves in the future. But for now... ONLY book this hotel if you're really broke and try to save as much as you can and

The rooms are not as depicted on the pictures and they are way too small, even for 2 people. Our vacation was in July 2008, the hotel is undergoing renovations and it will be like that for more than a year, there was no posting anywhere warning about it. We ended up not staying there and going instead to a hotel called Ohana Waikiki West for a few dollars more, great pool, restaurant, bar, the works!
