I was very disappointed. I was invited to take a two week vacation to visit my brother in law who is in the military in Hawaii for the Christmas/New year holiday. The bathroom was very small. the continental breakfast was un enjoyable, it consist of apples, bitter oranges, bananas, and blueberry and banana muffins, and juice that was horrible tasting. You have to pay $1.00 for the coffee and hot chocolate. There was no snack machine or no kind of eatery in the hotel nor a gym. However,I like the LCD T.V, the mini refrigerator, and microwave in the room. The beds and towels were clean. our particular house keeping lady was friendly. there were no roaches. However, I did notice two days before we were to check out, baby ants were on the dresser near the sliding glass door. Also, on our last day, the hotel water was shut off for 1 hour due to some sort of emergency I was told by a woman hotel receptionist. My daughter was in the shower full of soap and body scrub. After several trips to the lobby for accommodations. I was then given a hotel key to another room so that she could rinse off. I would recommend this hotel during spring break for college kids only!!

The only nice thing in this hotel is maybe the LCD TV. The bathroom was too small, with rusty metallic parts, and even when the hotel was renovated, the bathrooms are very old, including the horrible tile on the small shower. We were on the last floor, and for the days that rained, our luggage got wet because there are some leaks on the roof. The breakfast is nothing good, just some small cup cakes, pineapple juice, and bananas. The room smelled bad or old, and the housekeeping only makes the bed, but the bathroom floor was never swiped, or the carpet was never vacuumed. I will not stay here again.

Not a bad hotel, just expensive parking

The rooms weren't too bad, the staff was friendly, the breakfasts were good and I liked the open air lobby. It has a good central location so you are within walking distance to stores, restaurants and the beach. The pool was a little small. The one big problem I had was that we had to park 4 blocks away at another hotel the first day/night because parking was very limited at the hotel. There are only 35 parking spots in the basement and it costs $18 a night. I don't think that you should have to pay for parking a hotel but if you do, it should be no more than $5.

I was truly disappointed with this hotel especially the staff. The management needs to send their courtesy clerks/receptionists to a "How to Deal with Customers Training" because they have no idea how to deal with clients. Another thing, whatever happened to the words "WAKE UP CALL". We almost missed our airport bus because the clerk who was supposed to call us at 4:30 am was probably asleep herself.
