Circa 1840, restored in 2001, with expanded continental breakfast served on the rooftop garden terrace overlooking the market area and Charleston's waterfront. The Andrew Pinckney's 3 story atrium and outdoor courtyard with lion's head fountain are perfect for relaxation after a busy day. The rooftop terrace is noted for spectacular sunsets silhouetting the church steeples and historic landmarks or our enchanting city. Charleston is truly a living museum of art and architecture.
ReserveTravel
34 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Don't let this place handle any kind of detailed reservations such as weddings, family travel or anniversaries. Let me start from the beginning:
First, they lost my reservation, so I had to swear to the Almighty, at least twice, that I really did reserve a room there and that it was not reserved in another name. Once they found the reservations (entered incorrectly as it turns out, really?) things seemed to be on the right track.
Next, the room, although decorated beautifully, was small and cramped. I realize that I was not living there, but for two people it was tight. After climbing over my husband to get out of bed, I checked the bathroom. No, it was not clean. The dark grout really saves time on cleaning those showers. I really couldn't tell which was grout and which was mildew because it all blended together so perfectly.
