Experience Alaska in Anchorage at Mahogany Manor. Located on wooded bluff acreage in downtown, enjoy the ambiance of a serene, secluded first class wilderness lodge that is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Revered as an architectural masterpiece, the manor house was originally built in 1947 and known by many as the original mansion of Anchorage. It was designed for entertaining and we continue that tradition with visitors from around the world. Guests enjoy a spacious, warm redwood lounge area, including two large screen TV's, floor to ceiling waterfall, indoor gardens, huge windows, two massive fireplaces, 19' whirlpool swim spa, dedicated guest kitchen and much more. What guests seem to enjoy most is our attention to detail and service. We overlook Mulcahy Park for 4th of July and New Years Eve fireworks. Within a 5-10 min. walk is Sullivan Arena for The Great Alaskan Shoot Out invitational basketball tournament, UAA hockey games, trade shows and many other events. The airport and train station and most business centers are within a 10 minute drive and city center is 8-14 blocks. The place to stay when you visit Ancorage.

You have this business listed as your member for 2009. I feel you need to consider the pending litigation and be aware of the violent assault I experienced at the hands of Russell Campbell and Mary Ernst at Anchorage Mahogany Manor Midtown in March 2009.
Back in May, I had sent you this information below. Since then, all their properties are now up for sale. She is still advertising, but using a name "Marie" , not Mary at phone # 907-278-1111.
None of my claims have ever been contested, because they know they are quilty of this violent crime and there was an eye witness to the events of that day. I hope the Bed and Breakfast Associations in Alaska and the Convention and Visitors Bureau are no longer supporting them, either.
My medical bills have run into the hundreds and after the much needed surgery, I will have debt into the thousands as I only have catastrophic coverage. Russell Campbell and Mary Ernst have never offered to pay anything for the permanent and disfiguring injuries the have caused to my hand due to the violent assault by Russell Campbell at their 5402 Arctic property. I'm near financial ruin as my job of more than ten years requires detailed work with my hands, so I have lost a great deal of work and can only work with great pain. Police reports have been filed and I have consulted with a member at the offices of Sarah Palins attorney.

FYI - Re: Owners of Mahogany Manor in Anchorage.
Beware of this property owner...At their other B & B short term property I was assaulted by Russel Campbell and put under great duress by Mary Ernst. I gave Mary Ernst $150 to stay and she refused my stay and she and her husband, Russel Campbell, refused to refund me. There seemed to be no formality, no paperwork just the taking of my money and a scratchy receipt . Her husband, Russel Campbell, arrived at the property and became physically violent toward me, March 10th, 2009, injuring my left wrist. causing permanent damage. He violently pulled my luggage out of my hand to throw it outside - it contained my laptop, 2 sets of reading glasses etc. I am contacting the Attorney Generals Office in re of this matter. The owners of Anchorage Mahogany Manor and property at 5402 Arctic are Mr. Russel Campbell and Mary Ernst of Anchorage. Avoid do business here. The monies were refunded after the assault and great duress. Heartless and so little regard...A shocking act of violence and he may do it again. I went there for lodging, what I found was an entirely different fate.

Okay
Although located in proximity to downtown Anchorage, the Manor is hidden on a side road near the outskirts of the city. This remote location adds to the secluded and romantic nature of the property.
