Okay
My husband and I have stayed at the Anchorage Inn several times and have always enjoyed ourselves. The location of the Inn is right next to Water Front park and East Bay street where there are lots of nice places to eat.
Great location, near the shore and market. Just a short walk to just about any location in downtown. Our room had no window, but it added to the creepy, haunting, ghostly effect of Charleston. Excellent service, wine and cheese in the afternoon,...
The only thing that is good about this place is the location. The scenery around Anchorage Inn is breath taking. Other than that, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Upon arrival, we were not even greeted. Rather, the reception person was on ...

I loved the Victorian decor of the Inn and the plush design of the interior. The amenities are fabulous and the location was perfect for visiting downtown shops and restaurants within walking distance.
We had a great stay at this hotel. The layout of the rooms - centered around an interior courtyard - is unlike anything else I have ever seen. The staff were extremely courteous as well.
