I did not expect much based on the price we were paying. I was plesently suprised to find a very clean and adequate room. The rooms are not huge but they are sufficient for what is needed. I did not like the fact that right next to the bed is the fridge which was a bit on the noisy side but overall the rooms were fine. Pool area was clean and the hot tub was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning left something to be desired as by 9:00 am food was pretty well picked thru and not much remained.

We checked into the hotel after a long day on Mackinaw Island only to find our room not cleared from the guests of the prior night. It quickly was apparent that it would be a long time to get someone to get the room cleaned. We went back to the front desk to ask for a refund. The front desk person could not process a credit report refund and the one owner she was able to reach did not have the password to execute the machine. Then spent several minutes waiting for the front desk worker to discuss why the room was not cleaned. We left the property without a processed refund with the commitment that one would be processed and faxed to me. Six days have passed and no fax and no credit appearing on my credit card statement. Then to top things off, the only room left in the entire Mackinaw City was $299 for the night. There was no way I was going to pay this for a nights sleep. Ended up driving over a hour to Gaylord for a room. HIGHLY recommend staying as far away from this property as possible.

We were told we were getting a 3 bedroom suite. It was 2 rooms plus bath. The living room had 2 beds and no space for anything. It was clean just not what we paid for.

This was an awesome place to stay. We have four kids and needed two rooms which were very, very reasonable, for the price we paid you would have thought the place was a dive. It wasn't at all, the staff was friendly, the lounge was full of brochures, and the place was clean and very well furnished.
The pool was great and it was close to the Ferry and the Fort and had several places you could just park and enjoy the lake. I would highly recommend staying here. It was a great price for the value.

We stayed two nights, and the room was very clean. We were able to walk to the ferry docks and many hotels, but were a block off the main drag, so we did not have the traffic and noise. The staff was very nice, and helpful. The pool was across the parking lot, which was fine for us, as it was July, but may be a problem if it were cold or rainy.
Stayed here with my daughter and her friend for 2 nights, and thought it was great. The location is nice- about a 2 block walk to the ferry docks and restaurants, on a nice bike path. The convenience of being right downtown without the traffic. We...
Although the girls at the desk were nice and the room itself appeared nice don't be deceived. The queen sized bed was more like a double bed and very, very uncomfortable. The TV in the room was a nice sized one, if only we could control the...

Excellent
It was a great location right in the downtown area. It had an enclosed heated pool and spa. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The price of the room per night was comparable to hotels in this location.
